What data we process and why

a) People who visit the directory without submitting a request. Browsing Yogagenda does not require registration. Our hosting provider may process technical data essential for serving and protecting the website, such as IP addresses and technical logs. If you accept the analytics category, we may measure, in aggregate, how the website is used through Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity (section f); if you accept the marketing category, we may measure interactions with the website through Meta Pixel (section e). Both categories are independent, are activated only with your consent, and are explained in the Cookie Policy. If you contact an organiser directly using the telephone number, WhatsApp or email published in their listing, that contact does not pass through our systems.

b) People who submit a contact request from a listing. When you use the “Request information” form for a retreat, studio, training course or workshop, we process your name, email address, telephone number if you provide it —this is optional— and the message you write. We also store your IP address and the date as part of the receipt evidencing your consent. The purpose is to manage your request and forward it to the organiser of that listing so they can respond to you.

c) Registered organisers. When you create an account and publish activities, we process your name, email address and the contact details you decide to publish in your listings —telephone number, WhatsApp, email or links—. The contact details you include in a listing are published visibly in the directory for any visitor: that is precisely the purpose of the service. The purposes are to manage your account, review and publish your activities, send you operational communications about your listings, and forward contact requests that other people send you through the directory.

To measure organiser acquisition, when you reach the registration form with campaign parameters, we may retain attribution data associated with your account, such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term, as well as the registration date and, internally, whether you have submitted your first activity. This data is used to identify which acquisition channels work and to improve Yogagenda.

d) Email. If you write to us at hola@yogagenda.eu, we will process your data to respond to you.

e) Advertising measurement with Meta. If you consent to measurement and advertising cookies, Yogagenda may load Meta Pixel to measure campaign visits and conversions. Yogagenda disables the Pixel’s automatic event detection and configures only the events necessary for measurement: PageView (page visit), CompleteRegistration (completed organiser registration) and YGActivitySubmitted (submission of the first activity), together with the technical information necessary for measurement. Yogagenda’s implementation does not send your password or the content of registration forms to Meta.

f) Analytics with Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. If you consent to analytics cookies, Yogagenda loads Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how the website is used (page views and GA4 enhanced measurement metrics). This is a category independent of marketing: you can accept one and reject the other. Yogagenda does not use Google Ads in this integration and keeps Google’s advertising storage and personalisation permissions disabled. Before you accept this category, gtag.js is not loaded and _ga cookies are not created.

Alongside Google Analytics 4, Yogagenda also loads Microsoft Clarity to analyse how people navigate the site using heatmaps and session recordings. Clarity stores a pseudonymous identifier to link page views within the same session. Yogagenda does not enable Clarity data sharing with Microsoft Ads: the ad_Storage signal remains disabled. Before you accept this category, no Clarity script is loaded and its cookies are not created.

Legal basis

For contact requests (b), the legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the checkbox in the form itself (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time by writing to hola@yogagenda.eu. For organiser accounts (c), the legal basis is performance of the service you request by registering and publishing (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and your consent to the publication of your contact details in the listings (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you may withdraw by editing or unpublishing your listings. For Meta advertising measurement cookies (e) and Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity analytics cookies (f), the legal basis is your consent by category (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).

We also process, on the basis of Yogagenda’s legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR), the technical data necessary to maintain the security of the service and to measure the effectiveness of our acquisition channels internally, without using this internal measurement to make automated decisions about individuals.

You may withdraw your cookie consent at any time using the website’s “Cookies” control. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Retention

Data from a contact request (b) is retained for 12 months from submission. After this period, personal data is anonymised, retaining only the information necessary for aggregate service statistics. Data from organiser accounts (c) is retained while the account remains active. You may request the deletion of your account and publications, or of a request you submitted, by writing to hola@yogagenda.eu.

Technical and measurement data will be retained for the periods necessary for security, analysis and compliance with legal obligations, in accordance with the settings and policies of the providers involved.

Recipients

We do not sell your data. If you submit a contact request, we communicate your message and contact details only to the organiser of the relevant listing so they can respond to you. We also use technical providers necessary to provide the service, such as our hosting and email provider, Hostinger.
