About the course
In-Person Yoga and Mindfulness Training for Children – RCYT 95 | Barcelona
Specialised in-person training to learn how to design and deliver yoga and mindfulness classes for children, adapting the practice to their different stages of development, physical and emotional needs and, above all, their natural way of learning: through play, movement, creativity and experience.
The training has an eminently practical and experiential focus. Over six in-person weekends in Barcelona, participants first experience the tools and then learn how to use them with their own groups. The programme integrates yoga, mindfulness, emotional education, child pedagogy, art therapy, body expression and play, together with children’s anatomy and physiology and methods for structuring safe, creative classes with a clear intention.
The course explores working with different stages of childhood, especially 3–6 and 6–11 years, teaching participants how to adapt postures, Sun Salutations, yoga games, breathing, relaxation and mindfulness. It also covers family yoga, partner yoga and AcroYoga, emotional education, creativity and art therapy, as well as tools for professionally developing and offering children’s yoga classes and projects. The training is complemented by online modules on yoga for teenagers and yoga for children with special needs, along with materials and a one-year class curriculum.
It is aimed at yoga teachers, teaching staff and education professionals, psychologists, therapists and other professionals working with children, as well as mothers, fathers and people wishing to begin a new professional path supporting children and families. No previous experience of working with children is required.
On completion, participants receive the RCYT 95 certification in Children’s Yoga, registered with Yoga Alliance, as part of a 95-hour programme.

Natalia Plotyanskaya
I am Natalia Plotyanskaya, founder of Yoga Seeds of Love, a school specialising in children’s yoga and accredited by Yoga Alliance International. For more than 12 years, I have worked with children in different settings —nurseries, schools, yoga classes, workshops and families— and since 2018 I have delivered children’s yoga and mindfulness training both in person and online.
Over the years, I have developed my own methodology, combining yoga, mindfulness, emotional education, holistic and Waldorf pedagogy, dance and art therapy, while placing children’s real needs and their particular ways of learning, feeling and relating at the centre.
I currently focus mainly on training and supporting adults who want to bring yoga and mindfulness to children, whether through education, yoga, therapy, family life or as a new professional path. More than 1.000 students have already trained with Yoga Seeds of Love and are bringing this methodology to their own children’s yoga classes, workshops and projects.
