About the activity

This course is aimed at yoga teachers and anyone interested in deepening their meditation practice. Over two mornings, we will explore three major spiritual traditions from India—Classical Yoga, Vedanta and Buddhism—combining theory and practice to experience them in a simple and transformative way. Amelia Melo is an instructor in mindfulness, mindful eating, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, transpersonal art therapy, Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, trauma-sensitive yoga and Hatha Raja Yoga. She holds a master’s degree in Relaxation, Meditation and Mindfulness from the University of Barcelona. She is the creator of Mysteria, la belleza del silencio, a programme designed to cultivate awareness of beauty through art in museums. She collaborates with the Fundació Vila Casas—Museus Can Framis and Can Mario—and has delivered programmes at the Museo Universidad de Navarra and the Museo Nacional de Escultura de Valladolid, among other organisations and yoga centres.
