About the course
Online training that takes the practice of Yin yoga beyond the posture and explores how to prepare the body and attention for meditative stillness.
The programme introduces the attentional, constructive and deconstructive families of meditation, along with resources such as concentration, mindfulness, Vipassana, Metta, compassion, equanimity and self-inquiry. It also covers the biomechanics of seated meditation and alternatives such as walking meditation.
The teaching component focuses on designing sessions that lead into a specific meditation practice and on sensitively supporting the group through silence, resistance or drowsiness.
