Applied Anatomy Training
From the central channel to the āsana
BarcelonaAbout the activity
Intensive training in anatomy applied to yoga, spread over two weekends (29-30 August and 19-20 September, Saturday and Sunday from 10:15 to 13:15). The first block focuses on the spine and breathing: the relationship between spinal alignment and energy, how respiratory physiology influences meditation posture, and the biomechanics of forward bends, twists and side bends, together with their visceral effects.
The second block explores fascia and its role in practice, hip opening and inversions from a physiological and biomechanical perspective. The sessions combine theory and practice, supported by professional 3D anatomy applications, to observe the muscles and systems involved in each āsana in three dimensions.
Taught by Jordi Mosoll, a physiotherapist and osteopath trained in the Barcelona Osteopathic Concept, and a yoga teacher in the Sivananda tradition with decades of international practice and teaching experience. Open to practitioners of all levels; no previous training is required.
